Founded in 2018, we are a non-profit organization that works in the areas of Environmental Education and Animal-Assisted Therapy with a team made up of professionals and volunteers. We take our animals to institutions for auxiliary care in the treatment of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and we currently serve around 600 people/month free of charge.

Our resources come from donations, sponsorships and voluntary contributions from Environmental Education. Our team of professionals is trained to care for children and young people in institutions, helping them to live better and with a better quality of life. Our animals follow strict health and behavior standards and well-being.

We believe that socializing with animals is more than a leisure activity, it also has a strong educational power, which improves sensory, social and psychological development, benefiting the increase in affectivity and sociability.

ZooFoz is based on environmental ethics and respect for diversity, and does not recommend or encourage the adoption or acquisition of exotic animals without adequate conditions, or by people without knowledge of this type of activity. All our animals come from farms approved by IBAMA or have been legally donated and are not subject to resocialization in the

wild.
